Setting the Stage for Our Future Growth

In 2024, our Board of Directors — comprised entirely of physicians in our network — tackled the challenging task of developing a strategic plan that will guide our organization for the next three to five years. Crafting a sustainable plan requires a significant investment of time, energy and resources. It must also be flexible enough to help us navigate unforeseeable challenges in an ever-changing healthcare landscape. We are delighted to embark on that strategic journey in 2025, sharing our vision and core values with our organization, our colleagues and the many communities we serve.
In a nutshell, it is our aim to:
- Replenish our physician network;
- Grow our membership base;
- Enhance our population health tools; and
- Strengthen our alignment with key partners
In 2024, our board also explored the way we govern and lead the entity, considering ways to refine our approach and adopt best practices, while enhancing engagement and communication. We’ve already begun implementing some of these initiatives. Our organization is proudly led by physicians, for physicians, and we believe that is our key to success. We remain committed to gathering doctor input, involving them in committees and providing support, services and programs so the practices can focus on their patients.
We have been fortunate to benefit from the dedication of our Board of Directors. In 2024, we said goodbye to Drs. Irene Lo, Pat O’Malley, Rina Shah and Careen Whitley. We wish them the very best in their future endeavors and retirement. We have already selected four new physicians — two who joined the board in 2024, and two who will joined in early 2025 — to help us continue to move Hill Physicians Medical Group forward in our mission.
