In 2024, Hill Physicians Medical Group celebrated three prestigious honors for healthcare excellence.

Two of the awards came from the Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA), which recognized Hill Physicians for its outstanding performance in the Sacramento and East Bay regions. To qualify for IHA Excellence in Healthcare, provider organizations must perform in the top 50th percentile for clinical quality, patient experience and cost-efficiency. Only 22 out of nearly 200 eligible provider organizations in the state received the award. We are honored to be recognized as a top performer in the state for quality, experience and efficiency.

In addition, we earned the top “Elite Status” designation in America’s Physicians Groups (APG) Standards of Excellence Survey, the highest honor the program offers. This marks the 17th year we have received the top ranking. The APG’s “Elite Status” recognizes organizations excelling in value-based care models. Elite Status organizations are among the nation’s highest-performing healthcare organizations, excelling in primary care, patient-centered care and population health management, according to APG President and CEO Susan Dentzer.
